Punk Rock Flea Market – What is it?

updated 5/2/23

Well, in a nutshell, the Punk Rock Flea Market (PRFM) Lorain County is a cavalcade of unique and interesting vendors selling items from original art, photography, vintage items, oddities, clothing, music, comic books, movies, jewelry, books, music, record albums, t-shirts, crafts, taxidermy, skateboards, and whatever else you could possibly think of – all in one rockin’ venue!

Similar events are held in Philadelphia, Seattle, El Paso, and Trenton, and have become popular in the arts and counterculture communities in their prospective areas.

PRFM Lorain County is a chance for local artisans, small and indie businesses, musicians, and more to come together under one roof so they can network and sell their goods and services to the community at large!

We originally started out in Downtown Lorain and branched out to other areas of Lorain County. Unfortunately, Lorain County doesn’t have a large enough venue to contain all of the awesomeness we’ve grown into since 2015, so we had to expand our borders into neighboring counties, like Cuyahoga. We are always looking to return to Lorain County if we can secure a large enough venue close to major highways with reasonable rental fees and more than ample parking for all of our vendors and patrons alike!

The “Punk Rock” name and theme of this event refer as much to the DIY spirit of the event as well as the “all are welcome” aspect, just as it does to any particular music, subculture, or lifestyle.

The name says Punk Rock, but we promise we’re not scary!

PRFM Lorain County is a family-friendly event, so bring your kids!

Punk Rock Flea Market Lorain is NOT a non-profit, however, we always give back to the community by donating a spot at our shows to a chosen non-profit group in the Lorain County area so they can raise much-needed funds to do their work for the community. We especially LOVE groups that help animals!

If you are a non-profit interested in teaming up with PRFM Lorain County, please email us at prfmlorain@gmail.com so we can set up a meeting!
